When is it best to RQ patients so that it doesn’t interfere with their app?
This is an office preference, but some options are listed below.
- You can set up a message so they receive it 20 minutes after a missed appointment. At 45 minutes to an hour after missing, you can then call and RQ them.
- You could RQ them and then put them on another day with a specific code that practice members can’t see in the app, such as M for missed, and then send out a message prior to their new missed appointment.
- For example: Move the appointments to a Friday and send out a message on Wednesday or Thursday saying, “you missed your appointment make sure you make it in”
- You can leave them alone until the end of the shift and RQ after you close.
